The Lycée Français de Chicago has been providing a world class education to French, American and international students since 1995. Beginning in Pre-Kindergarten and continuing through 12th grade, Lycée students thrive in a unique multicultural, multi-language learning environment. Students are taught French through immersion in preschool or follow a welcoming class program (1st to 3rd grade) to be quickly integrated into the main curriculum. Non-French speaking high school students can also enter the Lycée in 9th, 10th, or 11th grades through the thriving International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
In the fall of 2015, the Lycée proudly opened the doors of its new environmentally-sustainable building in the Ravenswood neighborhood. The bright LEED-certified 3.8 acre campus provides a welcoming and nurturing environment with 41 technology-equipped classrooms, 4 science labs, 2 art and technology studios, two playgrounds, an outdoor soccer field, a full-sized gymnasium, and majestic 4-story atrium.
