Evanston Student Accepted to Julliard Summer Voice Institute

EVANSTON, Illinois – Isabella Goldberg has been singing since she was a child, but this summer she
will have the opportunity to share her talents with some of the most esteemed college conservatories
in the country.

As a student at the Julliard Summer Voice Institute, Isabella is one of 20 students selected from
across the country to participate in a week of masterclasses from industry professionals, private voice
coaching, and college-level voice and movement classes. Isabella is most looking forward to the
educational aspect of the program as she explores the world of classical voice, from healthy singing
habits to expanding her range as a singer. She is excited to experience the feeling of living on a
college campus and being in New York City, where she hopes to move to pursue musical theatre
professionally after earning her B.F.A. in college.

This incredible opportunity comes from Isabella’s hard work and commitment to her training. Earlier
this year, Isabella was invited to participate in the Broadway Artists’ Alliance, a weekend program in
New York City that allowed her to network with casting directors and deepen her skills as a theatre
artist.

After Julliard’s Summer Program, Isabella is headed to Ithaca College, one of the top-ranked musical
theatre conservatories in the U.S., for another summer intensive. This one focused on acting and
musical theatre. There, she’s excited to explore acting, dance, and musical theatre fundamentals as
she works to become a triple-threat performer.

Isabella is a student at Roycemore School, where she’s brought her love of musical theatre to life
through the numerous performance opportunities she’s had as a student. Because of Roycemore’s
small size, Isabella has been able to sing in a variety of different styles and strengthen her skills
onstage as a lead in multiple productions.
