The Saturday event is open to all (high school students, faculty, staff, and parents) who wish to learn more about one of the greatest skills rarely taught—effective listening and how it can be a catalyst to bridge polarization as we enter the election season.  

Saint Ignatius College Prep is sponsoring its fourth national conference on the receptive art, skill, and practice of listening, entitled Guanacaste 2024. Guanacaste is ancient Aztec for “listening tree.” Come meet with listening thought leaders, interact with interpersonal bridge-builders, and participate in listening activities, workshops, keynotes, and coaching sessions aimed at deepening the art of dialogue.  Professional development credit is available through DePaul University.
