Chicago Academy for the Arts Student publishes book, The Adventures of Bobbeta the Bookmark. Set to be released on February 6, 2023, this book is about Irma who “loves to read and always keeps Bobbeta, her favorite bookmark, nearby to mark her page. But one day Irma accidentally leaves Bobbeta in the poetry book she returned to the library. Determined to be reunited with her friend, Bobbeta embarks on a daring adventure that tests her wit and willpower. The author, Ava Baldassari, is a student at Chicago Academy for the Arts and a graduate of the Catherine Cook School. Ava Baldassari is a teenager living in Chicago. Passionate about the arts, she is an actor, dancer, singer, model, filmmaker and, with this book, author. Ava is dyslexic and wrote Bobbeta’s story to help develop her expressive language skills.
